A brief Art Alleries tour that highlights artwork by Sinixt artist Ric Gendron. Then a short walk down to the Revelstoke Museum for a guided tour of the exhibit, "Sinixt: People of the Place of the Bull Trout". 

Teachers can book the Lodge (Tipi) to use with their class. It is helpful to know how to adjust the flaps depending on the weather and you will need the key for the propane tank if you would like to use the fire pit.

Each year the SD 19 Indigenous Education Department creates a REDress art installation at the lodge beside the School Board Office.

The Art Alleries installations provide our community with so many opportunities to interact with progressive, socially-conscious art. This tour of the Art Alleries will feature stops to highlight the works of Ric Gendron, Delrée Dumont, and Zuzana Rhia.

This activity involves plant identification along the Big Eddy green belt. Discussion topics will include Sinixt history, traditional and medicinal plant uses, and landscape features depending on the season. This activity can be tailored to specific class requirements.
